Fieldwork

The Peatscapes project engages with a wide range of actors and organisations interested in healthy peatland futures, including peatland scientists, conservationists, farmers, wildlife charities, and other local stakeholders. This makes our fieldwork very varied - from academic conferences, to practical conservation work, to long hours of wandering through Estonia's vast bogs, to countless cups of tea in farmhouses from Westhay to Sawtrey and finally accompanying peatland scientists on research and monitoring site visits. This section of the website will offer a series of vignettes - photos, snippets from interviews, and reflections on our work and the people we work with.
